Blog Entry 3 - Crime

                       

                      I think Calgary its safe city to live, I used to live at North East area, Even thought a lot of people talk trash about North East, they usually said,"Stay away from North East area! it's dangerous!.", but in reality not bad at all, because I have never had bad experiences in Calgary since 2 years ago, also one time I lost my wallet on a bus and there is a lot of cash in it like 500$; at  that time I felt hopeless, but someone gave it back to me! since then, I amaze how honest Calgarian is. Compare to Calgary with my hometown, Calgary way safer than my hometown. The reason why I said Calgary safer then my city is I already compared from criminal statistic between Calgary and my hometown. But I think the main issue in Calgary are I saw a lots of druggie and drunker, I felt uncomfortable with them even thought they did not do anything to me. However, I have never brought a lot of cash while I am hanging out, in order to reduce loss material if I have gotten robbed.

BASE Jumping

I would like to try extreme sports at least one time for the entire of my life, not because I like adrenaline rush but what I am looking for is a life experience. I want to try extreme sports while I'm still young because I don't think I can handle it if I try when I already old; due to my physic, there are a lot of extreme sports I would like to try, but I found out BASE jumping is number one on my list, The acronym “B.A.S.E.” stands for: Building, Antenna, Span, Earth. Base jumping  a kind of skydiving, but the differences are Skydiving jumps from an airplane. Base jumping is jumping off a building, a tower, a bridge or something like that. BASE jumping will best fit a person who can react quickly and correctly in life threatening situations. If you don't have those aspects, BASE is not a good  sport for you because you might lose your life, considering BASE Jumping is very risky sport, “If you are not ready to die BASE jumping, you are not ready to BASE jump,” Some people said.
